STREET DANCE 

Street dance is an exciting, dynamic and energetic form of dance. Our Street classes are based on Hip-Hop, Break, Popping, Locking and House Dance.
Street dance has had a significant influence on global culture, appearing in music videos, movies and commercials. Street dance continues to evolve, incorporating new styles and techniques while staying true to its root of self-expression, creativity and community.

 

TAP DANCE

Our Tap classes help students develop a strong sense of rhythm as they recreate intricate patterns and nouns with their feet. They also foster an appreciate for various types of music.
Modern tap dance continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its dynamic blend of movement and sound, celebrating its rich culture heritage while continually evolving with new influences. 

 

STRETCH & LEAP

Our Stretch and leap classes are designed for pupils wishing to increase flexibility, conditioning for leaps and jumps and move on to advanced contortion work. An exciting classes with clear goals and an abundance of possibilities to expand flexibilities in all areas of your body. 

 

LAMDA / FESTIVAL ACTING

LAMDA  / Festival classes are designed for our drama pupils wishing to advance their dramatic abilities (aside from our drama performance class) allowing them opportunities to compete in local festivals and sit the prestigious LAMDA Acting exams.

LAMDA (lLondon Acamedy of Music and Dramatic Arts) is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama School. 

This prestigious exam board provides a phenomenal syllabus for actors and on passing examinations credits pupils with the ever important UCAS points.

 

NATD CONTEMPORARY

NATD Contemporary dance is respected for its rigorous standards and comprehensive approach to dance education. It nurtures both the technical and artistic development of dancers, making it a popular choice for those wishing to excel their dance training or particularly for those considering a career in dance. 
Our NATD Contemporary class is for dancers who have already began their training with us and are wishing to sit dance examinations. 
NATD is OFQUAL / UCAS registered which means it provided Tarriff points for entry to High Education courses determined by UCAS.

 

SHOW CHOIR

Show Choir is a vibrant and engaging performance ensemble that combines choral singing with movement. This class focuses on vocal performance with members working on harmonies and solo sections. 
The musical repertoire includes a mix of contemporary hits, classic songs and musical theatre pieces.
Members of this class will be encourage to develop strong vocal techniques, harmonisation skills and musicality

 

ELITE DANCE CLASSES 

Elite dance classes are accessible through auditions held annually in May. Upon acceptance, embark on rigorous training to prepare for competition season, proudly representing our award-winning dance team nationally and beyond. Our elite dancers boast numerous titles, including Northern Ireland Championships, Ulster Champions, and a top 5 placement in the Dance World Cup in San Sebastián, Spain in 2022.

 

ACRO

Acro is one of our most popular classes! Acro is a performance art that involves various gymnastic and athletic movements, such as tumbling, flipping and balancing the body in intricate ways. It requires strength, flexibility, coordination, and precision.
