VLDD STUDIO

Welcome to VLDD, the North Coast's first ever performing arts studio! Since our establishment in 2012, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional theatre education to students of all ages.

At VLDD, we offer a wide range of classes in various styles of dance including lyrical, jazz, tap, street, contemporary, as well as drama, show choir, stretch & leap and acrobatics. Our experienced, qualified and passionate instructors are committed to nurturing the talents and creativity of our students, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

As a recognized training center, we also offer the opportunity for our pupils to sit dance exams with the esteemed National Association of Teachers of Dance (NATD) and acting exams with the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Our drama pupils are encouraged to participate in drama festivals, gaining valuable performance experience and building confidence on stage.

One of the highlights of our studio is our Elite Dance Competition Teams. These talented dancers have achieved remarkable success, holding numerous titles across the UK and even placing in the top five at the Dance World Cup 2022 in San Sebastián, Spain. Auditions for our Elite Dance Competition Teams are held annually.

We believe in starting students on their artistic journey from a young age, which is why our classes are available for children as young as three years old. Our dedicated team of instructors ensures that each class is age-appropriate, fostering a love for the arts in our youngest performers.

As a celebration of our students' hard work and progress, all pupils from our mini+ age group are invited to participate in our theatre showcases held twice a year. These showcases provide a platform for our students to shine, as they perform in front of friends, family, and the local community.
